Good preparation is essential to ensure that your hospital stay runs smoothly. Find all our advice and practical information here.
For your comfort during your stay:
Your personal toiletries
Comfortable clothes that are easy to put on
Non-slip closed shoes
Glasses, hearing aids if you wear them
Something to keep you busy (book, magazine, etc.)
Your contact details and those of your support person and the person to be notified
For your safety :
Valuables (jewelry, money, computer, tablet, etc.)
Personal medications (unless otherwise indicated by the doctor)
Unauthorized electrical appliances (kettle, coffee maker, hair dryer, straightener, iron...)
The hospital cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of valuables. If you need to keep small valuables (bank cards, rings, identity papers, etc.), you can entrust them to the hospital steward against a signed inventory.
Report to the admissions office at the time you have been notified.
On arrival, please report to the admissions office at the main entrance. Here you can complete the administrative formalities and hand in your documents. A member of the administrative team will check your file and direct you to your department.
Once the formalities have been completed, the care team will welcome you to the department, explain the organization and answer any questions you may have. A member of the medical team will visit you to review your care.
