Capesterre-Belle-Eau Hospital
The quality and safety of care are at the heart of our commitments. The CHCBE is committed to a process of continuous, measured, and transparent improvement in order to provide each patient with care that meets the highest standards of healthcare.
This page highlights our measurable results, our concrete commitments, and the actions we take every day to make progress.
Since June 16, 2026, the CHCBE has been certified by the Haute Autorité de Santé (“Confirmed Quality of Care”).
Certification is issued by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) every four years. It evaluates the facility’s organization and practices according to a national standard common to all French hospitals.
All information regarding our certification is freely available on the official HAS website:
www.has-sante.fr → QualiScope Section
Here you will find the school’s quality reports, which are published regularly (at least once a quarter).
Each year, the HAS evaluates the performance of healthcare facilities based on standardized indicators. This data is publicly available and can be viewed on QualiScope. Here are the CHCBE’s results for the most recent data set available.

Every staff member at CHCBE is educated about the safety culture. Sessions to analyze adverse events are held regularly within each department, in a non-punitive spirit, to learn collectively and prevent risks.
A pain management protocol is in effect in all departments. Pain assessments are systematically documented in the patient’s medical record and reevaluated throughout the patient’s stay.
The CHCBE follows standard and supplemental hygiene precautions. Healthcare staff receive regular training, and the use of SHA is tracked in a monthly report.
Careful maintenance of your medical and care records ensures the continuity and traceability of your care, particularly during handoffs between teams and at the time of your discharge.
At the end of each stay, you will be given a satisfaction survey. Your feedback—whether positive or negative—is analyzed by the quality management team and shared with the relevant staff.
